Reigning Formula 1 champion Sebastian Vettel is to play a part in this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK, which is held between 28th June and 1st July. So, what will he be doing?

The German Formula 1 star will take the wheel of Infiniti's FX Vettel, named in his honour. The car was first unveiled publicly to the world at the Frankfurt Motor Show, back in September. The development of the special 'Vettel' edition of the Infiniti model was overseen by the Red Bull Formula 1 team, to which Sebastian Vettel belongs. Vettel himself is said to have played a part in the car's design, lending his hand to the interior and other aspects.

There's even a prominent rear spoiler to complete the FX's menacing styling, which hints to onlookers at the immense power lurking beneath the bonnet. However, this Infiniti won't come cheap; prices will be around £101,000 (nearly double that of the standard FX), which makes it Infiniti's most costly car to date by around £50,000. It seems a lot, but the special FX boasts some impressive figures: an impressive top speed limited to 186mph and a 0-60mph time of 5.6 seconds. Coupled with the striking design which makes the SUV stand out, plus an F1 celebrity endorsing it, makes the exorbitant fee almost understandable. Furthermore, buyers will receive a complementary iPad to track the progress of the car as it is being built.

However, Sebastian Vettel won't be the only F1 driver participating in the show; Australian driver and fellow Red Bull team mate Mark Webber will be trying out Infiniti's Emerg-E Concept car.
