Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake
When Mercedes first launched the original CLS back in 2004, it was destined to be a success. Mercedes created a whole new sector in the global car market: the 4-door coupe. The release of the second generation model in 2011 met with similar praise as Mercedes strengthened its name as one of the top in the world. The CLS has spawned a whole army of rivals, including the Audi A7, Porsche Panamera and the eagerly anticipated BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe. And now, the Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake, pictured right, is set to do the same thing again by creating an estate-coupe car. Much like the sedan version, it blends 4-door practicality and sporting style, whilst the estate tail shape makes it even more appealing to families because of the extra boot space.  And the wait isn't long! The Mercedes Shooting Brake will be on sale in October this year, with a starting price of around £48,000 for an expected entry level CLS 250 CDI.
