Honda CRV 2013The new Honda CRV 2013 model has been unveiled. The question is, has Honda done a good job with its new SUV, or is it another SUV that wasn't really needed.

Honda CRV 2013 Design

The new CRV for 2013 is the same size as the previous SUV, but it looks far better. Sharper headlamps grip the more stylish grille, while the lower roof-line of the 2013 Honda CRV creates a more sporty profile. There are neat body creases and chrome details which add a more premium appeal to the car, while overall the SUV looks generally solid. However, the rear lights of the new CRV don't get the same praise from us,
and we think that they look slightly out of place. Nonetheless, this is a good step forward for Honda design and a big improvement over the current Honda CRV model.

The interior of the CRV 2013 is new and features a more spacious design and better quality materials over the outgoing car.

Honda CRV 2013 Engines

From launch, there will be a choice of 3 engines available, but that choice should expand if there is significant demand and as time progresses.

Honda CRV 2013- 2.2 litre i-DTEC (149g/km of CO2) with stop-start technology

- 2.0 litre i-VTEC petrol (168g/km of CO2)

- 1.6 diesel (99g/km CO2) granting free UK Road tax.

The 4x4 system has also been redesigned for the better. The new 2013 Honda CRV will be launched at the upcoming September Paris Motor Show and will be built in the UK, which is good news for UK manufacturing.

Overall, Honda has come out on top form with the CRV 2013, with a neat and attractive design and an overall increase in quality and efficiency. It is by no means a Range Rover, but it is a car that should not be overlooked.
