Known as the i30 in Europe, this Ford Focus rivalling Hyundai has received great sales predictions since its unveiling at last year's Frankfurt Motor Show, and it marks a new style direction for the Korean manufacturer. The i30, or Elantra GT, will land in the United States this summer, carrying a price-tag of $17,445 for the base model, placing it in direct competition with the Mazda 3 and the Ford Focus when it arrives. The car also comes with a range of standard equipment, including heated front seats and an impressive 7 airbags. The redesigned interior makes the car more appealing with its new, modern feel in comparison with the model it replaces and the chrome bars on the grille adds greater desirability. And, its also not too bad environmentally as well, with certain variants falling below the crucial 100g/km of CO2 mark. So far, American prospects seem pretty good for the Elantra GT.
