BMW has unveiled an updated version of its BMW i3 electric car, the first electric BMW. The BMW i3 was described by the firm's design chief as "...a small loft on wheels inspired by urban living."

The BMW i3 design is revolutionary for BMW. It's sharp, neat and pretty - the design an electric BMW needs and what the BMW i3 has. The i3, along with the BMW i8 hybrid supercar, points at how the rest of the BMW i range will look.

Expect the BMW i3 to have a stylish, modern and minimalistic interior design.
BMW i3 Engines
It will be electric, and should feature a generator to extend its range. BMW is yet to reveal full details on the BMW i3. But there are thoughts that this electric BMW will have a 2 cylinder unit at its nose.
