| New Bugatti Veyron - How it could look |
It's official.
Bugatti is working on a successor to its world conquering
supercar, and it is highly likely that the upcoming car will continue to make use of the Veyron name. Hardly anything is known about the new
Bugatti Veyron, except that it should be faster, more powerful, and may be a hybrid in order to increase its appeal. Since the current
Bugatti manages a meagre 10mpg in cities, hybrid technology would certainly help increase economy figures, but would only be incorporated if it helped to boost performance. If it does, the new Bugatti Veyron
will exceed the incredible 1,183bhp and 268mph top speed of the current car. However, don't expect this car too soon, as
Bugatti's first priority is to produce the Galiber, a storming 4-door
supercar that will also produce more than 1000bhp, due out in 2014.
