Audis have always been a petrol affair. Not any more. A few days ago, we brought you news that Audi was set to reveal its tuned up version of hit Q5
SUV. And the German manufacturer didn't disappoint. The new car was unveiled officially by Audi, ahead of today's opening of the Le Mans 24 hour race. The figures look pretty impressive: 309bhp and 479lb ft of torque. Furthermore, the TDI stunner has a top speed which has been restricted to 155mph, racing from 0-60mph in an impressive 5.1 seconds. Though BMW currently has now direct rival to the new Audi SQ5, an M version of BMW's X3 is not unlikely, and if it does arrive, then a diesel competitor is almost guaranteed. You can place your orders for the SQ5 in October, and write out a cheque for around £45,000. .
