Lamborghini unleashed its Aventador supercar last year and its sold strong. However, it's very rare to see a Lamborghini Aventador on the road. 


If it's any consolation, you can see an Aventador on the big screen in The Dark Knight Rises, the third and final film in Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy which hits cinemas on 20th July 2012. 


Anyway, what makes this Dark Knight Italian Aventador supercar so special? Firstly there's that design. The Lamborghini Aventador is one of the most menacing looking cars on the market, and its that visual aggression that suits the car so much. And despite being menacing, it looks incredible and beautiful, like a work of art. Like the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta this Lamborghini supercar is not short of power. The Lamborghini Aventador features a stroming 6.5 litre V12 engine that allows the car to sprint from 0-60mph in an incredibly quick 2.9 seconds - that's Bugatti Veyron rivalling speed! 


The reason why you don't see many Lamborghini Aventadors decorating the roads: prices start at £201,900 ($379,700).
