The Dodge Viper is becoming an American classic, like the amazing Dodge Challenger. The new Dodge Viper, which was unveiled at the New York Motor Show this year, strengthens that image hugely. A release date for the new Viper, which will be sold under the newly established SRT brand rather than Dodge itself, has not been specified by the American manufacturer, but expect it within a year. While the four previous incarnations of the Dodge Viper looked very similar, the design for the new Dodge car is more adventurous and stylish, with the LEDs on the headlamps and tail-lamps, super large bonnet and sharp creases. It even slightly resembles the upcoming Jaguar F-Type! The styling is also sharp and aggressive - just what a Viper needs. The SRT Viper is expected to feature a massive 8.4 litre V10 engine under the hood, which generates a huge 600lb ft of torque and a nice 640bhp. The new Viper should be a hit.
