The all-new Porsche 918 Spyder has landed on UK shores, with the concept car making its debut at this years Goodwood Festival of Speed, which is currently being held between 28th June and 1st July. But why is there so much hype about this supercar? Firstly, its the fastest Porsche ever, with its 3.2 second 0-60mph time beating the Porsche Carrera GT, which ended its production run in 2007 and was the last real supercar from the German manufacturer. Plus, it produces a massive 759bhp and tops out at a monstrous 199mph. But, the real wonder with this car is that despite its incredible performance figures, it guarantees free road tax in the UK with CO2 emissions of just 70g/km and claims 94mpg. That's amazing! This is achievable due to the 2 electric motors which aid the 4.6 litre V8 engine under the bonnet. And, if you have the £565,000 spare cash to buy one, you could own of the 918 cars that will be produced, along with Simon Cowell, who has already bought his. Thus, exclusivity is ensured for this head-turning supercar when it arrives in November 2013. However, the Porsche 918 Spyder will only be available in left-hand drive.
