Chevrolet Cruze: Skoda Rival
Chevrolet Cruze SW
Say hello to the estate version of the Chevrolet Cruze. The Skoda rival is based on the Chevrolet Cruze sedan, which sold 230,000 units in America last year, and so there are some expectations.

Targeted at family buyers due to the natural practicality of an estate, the Chevrolet Cruze SW starts at £15,375 with basic LS trim level, featuring 1.6 litre petrol producing 123bhp. LT and LTZ NAV trim levels are also available, with the range topping LTZ NAV including a raft of standard equipment, including Sat-nav, automatic lights, bluetooth connectivity, rear parking camera and electrically operated climate control to name a few. But this Chevrolet Cruze variant does come at a price: £19,785.

Overall, this puts the Chevrolet Cruze SW in the firing line of the Skoda Octavia estate. Between the two, the Skoda is certainly the better looker with its more premium styling, but which would you choose? The new Chevrolet goes on sale in the autumn, later this year.
