Fiat has already delighted customers with its retro, Mini rivalling Fiat 500, and its hard to drive without seeing one on the street. And the Italian manufacturer is trying to keep the fire going by releasing a more practical MPV version of the 500, increasing the appeal to a greater audience. It's called the 500L, and it's just 3 inches longer than the 500 hatchback, so will still be easy to manoeuvre in cities. The styling is inspired by the 500, so you know that it's part of the family, with a slightly more modern appearance which looks quite good. This new car is set to replace the slightly smaller Fiat Idea, as well as the larger Fiat Multipla, all in one go. The 500L made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March this year, and should hit UK and European showrooms towards the end of 2012. It's also expected to arrive in the US in 2013.
